Budapestundeguide aim is to lead visitors who come to our
country either for a few days or even several years to get
a first hand experience into the real local life. We would like
to share everything we love in Budapest as well as the countryside to
those especially who are staying here for a long stint, both ex-pats
and students. We believe that they are the ones who can have true and
hopefully great experience here in Hungary and when they leave share
them with the word . So we wish to participate in or add something
unique to these experiences.
Ex-pat Support Services
For newly arrived ex-pats and students:
With the
experience of some underguided days you can easily and
cost-effectively settle in.
Starting from
your arrival we help you in taking the first steps of adoption to the
new circumstances, so you will feel at home soon. We assist you in
finding the proper apartment, housekeeper, gardener at the standard
going rate. Within a couple of underguided days, we will have
preplanned together with you and your underguide to discover the city
and everything you may want. From the ??foreign language?? library,
sports facilities, markets, car services, hairdressers, veterinaries
and nurseries to the pubs and clubs where several languages are
spoken and foreigners are warmly welcome but not handled as such.
For advanced ex-pats:

missing to live a full life here
If you have
settled in but are missing some tiny parts to the perfection, with
absorbing the informational, cultural or language barriers we
facilitate your access to services, programs,and many organizations.
From butterfly hunting, disabled sport activities to charity
foundations we always welcome anybody who honestly wants to belong to

Hungarian desserts and culinary program:
learn how to
make the local dessert specialties!
This program is
based on one of our underguide idea: if you are also crazy about
home-made pastries just learn how to make granny's sweeties! From the
simple mákos pite (poppy seed pie) to the bit complicated dobos torta
(‘Dobos’ chocolate cake). Come alone, with the kids or friends and
take home your own self made cake!
Half-day
programs are available in several languages. This service is
available at home or in a specially equipped kitchen.
